2021: Have a Better New Year
Wed, 30 December, 2020
Absolutely the best thing about the year that has just passed is that it's hard to beat at awfulness. Even for the fortunate who have not suffered serious losses there have been no hugs, no going out and no holidays – for the sensible most.

So although it might still get worse before it gets better, I believe that better it will get. My New Year’s list is short and simple: hug my daughter, eat food somebody else cooked for me, walk unknown paths and visit a spa. It’s not a list of resolutions as none of those things is in my control, so rather a wishlist.
And I wish the same to you all: that you are able to do those simple things again that we were deprived of in 2020.
And I thank you for visiting my pages, enjoying my writing, following my recipes. Do come back and bring friends!
Have a Better New Year everybody!
